Best Books on The Sabbath
In Reformed theology the Sabbath is the creation ordinance of one day in seven set apart for rest and worship, carried into the New Covenant as the Lord's Day, Sunday, in commemoration of Christ's resurrection. Reformed confessions, following the Westminster Standards, teach that ceasing ordinary work and gathering for corporate worship remain a perpetual moral duty rooted in the Fourth Commandment, not an obsolete ceremonial law.
