Best Books on Predestination & Election

Predestination and election are the Reformed teaching that before the foundation of the world God, out of his free and sovereign grace alone, chose a particular people in Christ for salvation, not on the basis of foreseen faith or merit. This is the doctrinal heart of Calvinism, captured in the U of TULIP, unconditional election. It grounds the believer's assurance in God's unchanging eternal purpose rather than in the strength of their own choice.
